This program combines many powerful modalities to create lasting results:

It’s IFS (Internal Family Systems) and is Trauma-Informed, combining the power of Rebirthing Breathwork and Somatic techniques in a unique way that means you can go deep in a safe and grounded way.

Uses Shamanic techniques to hold the space and empower the healing that is possible with this work, and I’ve found that it can be really useful to offer coaching sessions alongside deeply transformational sessions to fully digest and gain insights from the experience.

Offered Weekly or bi-weekly with 2-hour One-to-one Breathwork sessions.

Daily practices to keep you connected to you breath and body.

An ongoing accountability and self-reflection process with regular feedback.

Elements of the Rebirth Program

Rebirthing Breathwork

Rebirthing Breathwork is brought the power of the breath to the world in the 1970’s. It’s core technique is called conscious connected breathing, that is the same technique used in all healing and transformational healing modalites today.

During the program, you will be taught how to use the technique, supported to use it for self-healing, and once you are safe and confident, you will be empowered to use it on your own.

Healing Trauma

Trauma is stored in the body. The memories about traumatic experiences can be recalled in the mind but to release trauma it needs to be done through the body. Just like the animal in the wild who shakes after running for their life and escaping danger, we modern domesticated animals also need to release trauma from our bodies otherwise it becomes stuck there and inhibits our ability to be present in life and debilitates us mentally, physically and emotionally.

During the program, you with be guided and supported to use simple trauma release techniques to release stress, trauma and blocked emotions.

 

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS provides a unique and insightful lens to relate to oneself. At the core is the awareness of different internal parts that are all driven by a desire to benefit the whole, but often need some help aligning that intent in an optimum way.

During the program, you will be introduced to different ways of interacting with parts and learn empowering ways to relate to them.

Somatic Practices

There are many great practices to support the embodiment process. One of the key practices is interoception. The capacity literally to perceive from the inside. Somatic work and Conscious dance practices are profound ways to increase this capacity to feel and listen within. When in stillness or movement, the listening is focused on micro-movements and internal bodily processes.

During the program, you will be invited and guided to use somatic practices to support the process of healing and transformation.

 

Shamanic Healing

Shamanism can be seen as a way of having a direct connection with life and all the forces of nature, both visible and invisible. Shamanic practices can be found at the roots of many cultures as they are one of the oldest ways humans have used to understand their place in the web of life.

During the session I will use Shamanic Healing techniques that I’ve learnt from Shamans in Siberia, Northern Europe, Asia and the Americas. These techniques hold the space and support the release of mental, emotional, physical, energetic and spiritual blocks.

What to expect in a One-to-one session

  • We check in to see you you’re doing on the day as many things can come up as you move towards this work.

    We will also discuss the information you provided on your new client questionnaire (that is sent to you after you book). This will give a good overview and we will then discuss specific intentions for the work in this session.

  • I will introduce you to the structure of the session and the techniques that we will be using.

    I encourage you to ask any questions so that you are very clear about how we will be working work and how you can speed up or slow down the process as need be.

    I place a lot of attention on making sure you understand the mechanisms for self-regulation during the breathwork so that you are totally safe to go as deep as you feel ready to go.

  • I will then guide you in an embodiment exercise so you ar fully present in your body and to get the energy moving in your system. This makes the breathwork much more powerful and effective as well as beginning the transition of your focus from your mind to your body. The body is where all the emotions and memories of life experiences are stored, so by connecting with the body you begin the process of making space for that which is no longer serving you to be released. This then opens the possibility of more of your life force energy filling your body and life.

  • I will then guide you to begin the conscious connected breathing pattern that you will be using and support you to connect with your own natural breathing rhythm.

    This is the key to how I work as I empower you to trust your body and breath throughout the whole process. In this way, you can connect with and be guided by your own innate intelligence, and the healing, transformation, and insights that come will be exactly right for you as they will arise from you being in your own process, not from me trying to heal you or push you to breathe in a way that I think is right. That’s not how I work as I know and trust in the power of the breath, body, and innate intelligence that animates us all.

  • This is where the magic really happens as I give you plenty of time and space to receive the medicine of the journey so that it is genuinely useful to your daily life and not just a one-off peak expeience.

  • We complete with a time for you to share anything that is useful for you to share and for you to bridge back into verbal communication before going back into the day.

    You are welcome to share as little or as much as you little, as well as ask any questions or ask for any advice.

    We will also then discuss the next steps if you’d like to do more sessions.
